1. How would you describe yourself in five words?

2. Why did you choose to do an EVS?
Volunteering implies lots of great things like satisfaction from doing meaningful work, learning through interaction with people of different backgrounds,
acquiring new skills and competencies and feeling free. So I wanted to experience that to the fullest.
3. Why did you choose Idrija as a welcoming town?
First, there was a project I got interested in, and when I checked info about the town on the internet, I had an intuitive feeling that I would go there.
Then I started to rationalize my decision and realized that the idea of staying in a cozy town surrounded by nature for a person who got tired from
hustle and bustle of a big city seemed brilliant.
I am really glad to have been selected for volunteering in this wonderful place ![]()
4. In what way are Russians the same as Slovenians?
Well, I think, both Russians and Slovenians are pretty quiet and sincere, but Slovenians seem more smiley and open :)
5. What do you think about the Idrija Youth Center?
A nice place with a great mission and friendly and dedicated people. I love the atmosphere here and the possibility of trying various
activities according to one`s interest.
6. What have you done in the past?
I earned a master`s degree in economics, currently getting additional ed in translation. I used to work as an export manager, but my real passion is teaching.
I`ve worked as an English teacher in a private English school since 2019. I mostly worked with teenagers and adults, but here`s a pic with my youngest students.

7. What do you like to do the most?
I love walking, being in nature, traveling, and meeting cool people.
8. What is your first impression about Idrija?
This town instantly amazed me with picturesque views, tidiness and people greeting each other in the streets.
And it makes me want to immerse myself in local life and culture.
